Online work simulations that assess job competencies

Situational Judgement Tests (SJTs) are online work simulations designed to assess candidates against a broad range of behaviours or skills required for effective performance in a particular role. SJTs place respondents in realistic work scenarios and ask them to deal with a number of situations that are likely to be faced in a particular role. Each scenario is task-driven and so provides realistic content for these roles, whilst being relevant across organisations.

By measuring how effective someone’s decision making and judgement is when faced work-related scenarios, SJTs effectively assess work-based behaviours and decision-making; underpinned by skills, motivation and abilities commonly required in the workplace.

Iris SJTs

Iris is an off-the-shelf SJT that assesses behaviours and skills specifically for positions in graduate, junior managerial, administrative, customer service and sales. The assessment content of the Iris SJT was designed through an extensive job analysis of the requirements of roles within these positions.
